If you like Dungeons and Dragons see this show!

If you like the art of story telling see this show!

If you want a standup comedy act or your standard Melbourne Comedy Festival fair then this is not for you.

The guys from the Dice Paper Roll podcast take you on a journey with some wacky fantasy characters set at a range of movie studios.

The content is primarily improvised with a very relaxed attitude to the rules of D&D as a vessel for the light hearted narrative.

My colleague a big fan of the game was surprised the characters were able to achieve their objectives even when rolling some very low numbers. I concurred it would be nice for the missions to fail and the story to bend and break in a live fashion according to the dice.

Dice Paper Roll is relaxed fun for anyone wanting to escape into a fantasy world for an hour, plus the audience gets to contribute the sound effects!
